so how do you explain the lan parties that we had playing quake and unreal long before the xbox was even released? PvP parties...

They are making an entrainment system which a PC can not deliver. Im still putting my money down on Microsoft to come out of this the winners. Sony come talk to me when you've made successful console exclusives that have made live action tv shows (soon to a be movie), novels, and comics based on your console exclusive games.

Console is still irrelevant internet was still from the computers. A game being famous has nothing to do with a console for one it could've been made for any system just one person had bought the rights. Why would I want an entire entertainment system anyways I just want it for games? I already have cable and yes a computer can deliver entertainment systems its what I have been using for the past couple years. It has netflix, and online streaming and is hooked up to my TV so again your logic is flawed. Yes ps3 and 4 is stronger then the xbox but it doesn't reqally maatter since most games are meant to be ran on both so it will most likely look the same but for sales wise xbox sold a million in 13 countries and ps4 sold a million in 2 so thats where that comes from. I do not hate the xbox but everything you are saying that puts it on a throne is flawed and simply comes down to you just liking it just cause. I may get an xbone eventually for their exclusives
 
Anyone else miss those Starcraft 1 LAN parties?
 
Real talk from people who have one, is there even a graphic upgrade in actual game play from the 360 to one? The videos and commercials look like 360 game play and the launch campaign went out of the way to avoid showing game play

I'm not denying im a Microsoft fan lol and actually Halo was never "bought" it was and still today is a first party game. You can argue the reason why the original xbox grew in popularity was because of Halo.
Yes your PC can do what the Xbox does obviously but it doesn't put it together seamlessly. I never claimed the Xbox one to be throned all im saying is give it time and xbox will rule supreme yet again.

xbox has never ruled supreme. neither has PS. nintendo did for ages, then came the big three. Family gamers want the nintendo for family friendly games, and with current systems, something that appeals to many age groups. Xbox started out as the expensive gamers console, then went the cheaper casual gamer, now back to expensive because it wants to be something there is no need for (entertainment system. please, what a joke.). Playstation was built to cater to the growing population of gamers that didnt have to money to do PC gaming, and wanted more adult games than nintendo. Then came the PS2 which was the casual gamers console, then flipped with xbox then right back.

If you want to go into units sold, between PS3, Xbox 360 and wii, well wii outsold them by a good bit. nintendo's hand helds have no equal. No game company can really claim superiority though nowadays. If one wanted to claim one is, that honor has to go to nintendo even if the wii u has not been doing that well.
 
Although i have no idea which system will ultimately come out on top, it will be interesting to see who eventually does, since this time, both next gen systems are being released much closer in time than before...

So i think it really will come down to the quality of games etc for this next gen, and who does it better with exclusives in the near future... although atm from the few online polls i've seen while surfing the net, it does seem the PS4 is leading over the Xbox One for popularity among users?
 
I just go hmmmm.... Buy xbox live? Heck no, and then I get playstation, but wait til the bugs get fixed. I just don't feel like paying for that stuff. You don't really need playstation plus. We'll at least for ps3
