Neoceratodusforsteri is a very large, prehistoric fish, whose family has been around for millions and millions of years. However, this fish is the only remaining species of its family-- and one of only six remaining lungfish species, of which there were possibly once hundreds. Though some report that these fish can successfully be kept in a monster community, they still have a bad temper and a strong bite. Other than that, they are very hardy and easy to feed. This is the only lungfish that cannot survive in completely dry conditions for long.

Description
Anguillarostrata is a true North American eel found in freshwater, brackish, and marine conditions throughout the United States, and parts of Canada. Though they travel to the sea to spawn, and spend much of their early development in saltwater, adults are most commonly found in freshwater conditions, and quite often brackish. Full strength marine is by no means recommended for this species. Serves as an important food fish.
