Rhoadsia altipinna is one of my favorites, even though I have never had this fish.

"Rhoadsia altipinna is a characin that is very rare in the aquarium trade. Interestingly, these fish, despite having been described a very long time ago, do not have a common name. The one I assigned is simply my own interpretation. These fish are similar to their relatives, the piranhas, in the sense that, though they get along rather well with others of their species, they are extremely aggressive towards most other species."

It is worth noting that although Rhoadsia share some behavioral and dietary characteristics with piranhas, they are NOT closely related. Carnivory, as well as herbivory have evolved multiple times among 'characins', due to multiple independent instances of morphological and behavioral convergence, possible more related to ecological opportunity and other circumstances, that to actual degree of relatedness. For instance, as per current phylogenetic understanding of the various 'characin' groups, piranhas (Serrasalmidae, Serrasalminae) are most closely related to silver dollars of the genus Metynnis (also Serrasalminae), more so than any other known 'characins'. More close to piranhas than to pacus or the rest of the 'silver dollars' (Myleus, Myloplus, Tometes, etc.).
Rhoadsia is currently considered in a separate family (Characidae), in the subfamily Rhoadsinae, with 4 known genera.

Cheers!

Description

Zungaro zungaro is yet another of the seemingly countless giant South American catfish. Though they are important food fish in their native range, they are not particularly popular as food elsewhere, and are, for the most part, commercially unimportant to the aquarium industry. Juveniles of this species are very attractive and colorful, though this eventually fades into a dull, dark, and frankly ugly coloration.

Hi xenacanth, no disrespect intended but it looks to me like a lot of tank sizes for the really big fish are far too small. With the most recent gilded catfish being an excellent example.
A 2082 liter tank is not wide enough for a 135 cm fish and is less than twice its length. To give enough space for it to swim and turn around, it'd likely need to be about 20k liters.
I mean no disrespect, just trying to help.
