  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
guess what i just got... ohh yeah your got it another xp3 how can you not for 75.00 + tax out the door for $83.00 :headbang2 :headbang2

How many people have bought XP3's in the month of April? I'm guessing a ton on this board alone lol

Petsmart.com had them out of stock for a while. I guess a lot of people found out about this deal and all bought it during that time.

Do they still have these deals for the XP3 for 74.99 ? I have a petsmart about 30 mins away and I want to make sure that i can still print a coupon out and get it for 75$.

Also do they come with everything you need to get it running? The right amount of tubes and filter media? I never had a canister filter before and I would be using this on my 30 gal until I upgrade to a 55. Or should I get an XP2 for my 30 GAL, it already has the Eclipse 3 filteration system, and If they have a 15 $ off coupon for that.

Thanks

yeah mayb i'll do that... do they except paypal? and how long does it take to arrive with the free shipping like a week?

If you have a petsmart nearby, why wait?

The coupon is good until 05/25/07 I believe. There's a link to it earlier in this thread, or you can search for "rena xp3" on google, and the coupon is listed as the first result in the yellow box.

Don't forget to print out their online page, showing the price at $104, as well as the instore coupon.

The filter comes with the basics: all the tubing you need, sponges, pouch of bio chem zorb, and one square of filter floss. That will pretty much leave you with plenty of space though.

I bought a bottle of Seachem's "Matrix" which is basically small chunks of pumice, and a few pieces of other types of rocks. Pumice is very porous which is good for a biofilter, but the other small dark rocks aren't that porous but there's much more pumice than those, so I was able to look past it.

A 14 oz can was $11.99 in store, and fills one and a half baskets, unless you choose to spread it a little thinner (which is what I did).

I plan on buying some biostars, and the progressive floss.

Dude, someone earlier in the thread said that they honor the coupon retroactively. Print it out and go back right now, they should refund you some dough.
