x2, the light one looks dead while the other one looks somewhat fine.

The female looks really skinny, did she eat anything yet?

No neither ray is eating yet, as far as I see. I have been puting food in the tank at night so not sure if they have been eating. Both rays are pretty active swimming around and kissing the glass.

I have been trying all kinds of food. Live black worms, frozen blood worms, frozen brine shrimp, cut up night crawlers, cut up cooked market shrimp, pellets. I have krill, but I have yet to try because they float.

Water temp is right at 80F, I add twice the usual amount of salt. I have had them for a week now, and have done 2 50% WC. I am going to pick up an extra filter just in case this weekend.

Water parameters perfect and water is crystal clear.

stick with the black worms and keep the tank dark....

I have the tank lights off and the room lights off. I just tried bloodworms, no luck. I ran out of blackworms, I will get some tomorrow. Any other advice?

BTW why did that one poster think that one of my rays is a hystrix? Do they look similar? Was he just messing with me? Can someone post a pic of a hystrix?
