Ok I know how to solve the promblem. Ban the zebra pleco just like they did with all channa species. Even the small ones. This is how how government works.

The government always jumps to conclusions im sure they will be thinking of that

These guys are basically everywhere. A few years ago, that winter that screwed up the snook population in Florida. I was walking down a brackish water stream that is about 30 feet across and a few miles long, there were at LEAST 40 dead plecos at 12 inches and up!

How could they possibly even try to effectively ban plecos? I can see it now...."we are beginning with an amnesty period. You all have 30 days to turn in your plecos to your local pleco drop-off site. After that there will be severe penalties including possible fine, loss of personal property and maybe jail time." Maybe there would be a pleco swat team for enforcement...DROP THE ALGAE TABS AND STEP AWAY FROM THE TANK WITH YOUR HANDS WHERE WE CAN SEE THEM!!!!

Pythons were just a couple species, not all pythons. It's amusing though, all the really agressive dangerous pythons are still perfectly fine to own

Burmese pythons are the type of pythons that have become "invasive" species of florida due to irresponsible owners
