Source? It sounds like your making it up. Those bullets cost between $5-$10 each. They could just use a gig or tiny piece of dynamite. Even a 30/30 would work well in shallow water.

I also heard that plecos pull your legs into the water with their sucker mouths and drown you to feast on your flesh. Lol. It is a problem but people shouldn't go crazy about it.
