yellow tail payara

The smaller they are the easier they are to get off live.
 
sorry pics are not working

my old red tail is doing fine about 11" and alone he killed everything i had with him and has his own 135 with some raphael cats i have had mine about 2 years and has only eaten live feeder convicts

in another tank i have a scomb hanging with pipa pipa frogs he is 2 years also and mellow and is about 10" also only live feeders

also i wanted to go out on a limb here on the yellow tails i saw pics of some 8 inch scombs a few years ago and the scomps had yellow fins, so unless they are redish yellow i would think they are scombs when they are bigger from the wild i have seen the yellow fins. The pic was from Georgia and that was a huge tank of red tails and in other pics the red stands out alot better than that one

ive never seen the yellow scombs.

is that ur redtail in the pic? ive seen it b4 somewhere....
 
no its a pic of a bigger one that was like 16" i think. there is a pic of the yellow i was talking about. Also bro those vids of your armatus on youtube are the best man i watch them all the time keep in touch i will try to dial in my camera to this computer and get some pics of my tanks and fish up

nice pic. cant tell if its just a reg scomb or not. i deff see the yellow though.

we deff need pics of ur set up!
 
Armatus....... @ about 3.5-4 in...Started taking krill @ 3 but wasn't growing fast enough.
Tats....... 4in
Scombs......4in
Raphs.......3.5in

All sizes listed were the same size they were when I got them.

The payara in that pic isn't that large unless those are mutant rosies.

Both my Scombs had yellow fins.
