I do plan, if possible to take juv. Beani to sell and spread around. I dare not take any of my adults, as I fear losing them. I do have 1 more large 6" male, with perfect finnage, color and pattern, absolute perfect show specimen and stud for a F1 female of the batch of fry I have now. But again, the adults stay home.

I planed on slowely easing the parents out of the fry. The parents are doing great with the remaining fry, and we are going on 2 weeks post breeding. I should be done removing all the fry by weeks end. There are over 600 fry all together. I was surprised, spawn was that big, being their first spawn. Will post Fry photos as their development goes on.

The exact location is at the foot of the Mountains, behind the City of Rosario, in the town of "La Hacienda", about a 2 1/2 hour drive from Mazatlan. I think it important, that people do NOT cross-breed the differant type locations. I can't control that, put I urge people, once these become more available again, to try and stick to that. I did bring back a couple of Beani from Rio San Pedro, which is in another state. I do not know if they are male and female, and they are now in the hands of another collector/breeder. That varient is very differant in color than the Baluarte ones. I feel it important to bring Beani back, strong in the hobby, but feel it even more important to be even more responsible in breeding true type locality specimens. At this point, I think most beani out there are Baluarte, if you can trace them back to me. Thanks all!
Excellent! Put me down for some at the ACA.JoeFatFish;2842693; said:I have attended the ACA every year for the past 5 years, and God willing, I will be at the Cinci show.
