Thank you for the tip on using freeze dried versus frozen. I am honestly feeling like a noob here. lol
Good question. At this moment, I have a 29 that isn't set up and I have a 10 gallon nursery tank. I have fry in there now, but they can go in with the Community fish anytime. I have the 29 I have been planning on putting the Aro in, plus, I have a 20 that is housing an isolated Cichlid (which could go to the LFS if I need the space...no disease issues, just on time out for bad behaviour). All together, I have 12 HOBs on tanks now, so I could get the spare 29 going quickly. I am picking up a 49 cube and the other 55 later this week. Plus, after the PM I got last night, I might be getting the new 125 as early as next week.
Good point on the current. Now that I think about it, one HOB will be enough to handle the bio load initially. Once they get an inch or so on them, I can fire up the second. Another inch and I can start the canister.
Is it OK to admit I am getting excited to have these guys in the house?
