To address some of the questions above, I'll start with the PH level. Currently the PH sits at 8.0. For cichlids from Malawi, the PH can range form 7.5 to 8.5 to keep them happy. Some will disagree with that but I've always found success in that range. The silver fish are skats (2 of them) can live in freshwater or saltwater. thanks for reply, as for the eye biter gettin the loaches id like to see him try with the loaches barbs hehe. i had some full grown eye biters, but they kept getting bullied by my auratus and empress so i had to take them back to my work in the end :( mine were a max of 7" i would say

Wow I really like natural look better but honestly the castle kinda of caught my eye b/c you dont usually see a set up like that with out it being done extremely tacky and that one wasnt, I like it. I have to say both look good to me. I also like the mix of the ruin/castle looking things in a nautral setting when it isnt done tacky.

As for eyebiters well depends on which one you have some grow to 6inches others to 12inches. I didnt have any problems with mine utnill he hit about 4-5 inches then he started bullying my fish really bad so I had to get rid of him. Onces he hit 4ish inches he started growing faster too. =[
 
Both were pretty neat but i like the driftwood and rocks more but the castle wasnt bad maybe put a piece ofthe castle back.:headbang2
 
I really enjoy changing the look of these tanks, I think next I'd like to add some sand rather than rocks. I really want to build a "planted tank" with grass, rocks, possibly some decor i.e. "castles."

Any other photos anyone has I'd like to see them...

I really like the castle look, it looks very creative and nice, but simple and not overdone. I do however, like how your fishes color looks in contrast to the more natural looking setup. It seems that the castle, although very nice, took away from the coloring of your fish. Overall. I'd say go with the natural:)
 
I did not want to to pile on, but I really did not like the castle thing unless the room, perhaps, had a medieval theme. I like what you have done.
 
I like the au tank myself, but the gravel is still a bit unnatural. Much better though aesthetically.
