fuzzy, you have some good points but you're gonna lose people with things like "cow milk is addictive"
There's a hormone or nutrient in most mammal milk that is there to get baby animals or humans addicted to there mother's milk. It's natures way of making sure you get as much nutrients as possible as a baby. But its only really meant for the first few months of life, that's why mother cows or humans stop producing the milk after a few months, the baby's don't need it anymore.
And as far as milk being addictive, look at a human baby that's coming off breast milk, they crave it and will freak out when they can't get it.

I did see the cowspiracy docu and it was interesting

well, same can be said for all animals' milk

it doesn't do anything for your stance unless you have scientific facts that show that milk have addictive components

babies freaking out when being weaned off milk is not so much that it's addicting, but more so that they are so used to it and when it gets cut off they freak out. but every kid reacts differently. none of my kids freaked out, it was rather easy. i did notice that they noticed a change in routine but they never fussed. i think only one of my kids asked for the milk a few times but that was it. it was rather easy and I've seen family members' kids cry and whine for a few days while being weaned off milk

I had nephews that had a blanket they slept with since they were a baby and freaked out when it got thrown away

I don't think it's accurate to use the word "addictive"

I just don't understand how you can sit there and say we shouldn't eat meat...I just cannot understand the logic behind saying humans weren't designed to eat meat. Canine teeth and an appendix don't develop for no reason. You can argue that they have changed over many years which is true but they wouldn't have been there to change in the first place if our bodies hadn't been designed to digest both animal and plant nutrients...damn get off the veggies save the world high horse. You hypothetical situations aren't anymore disaster proof than mine where, and mine may actually happen. Your situation will never develop, ever. There's no way around it. People will never get along well enough to stop killing animals for food, nor will they ever be kind or non corrupt enough to grow life saving amounts of vegetables to further your "cow farts will end the world" theory. Eat veggies all day for the rest of your life. I hope you do make some change in the world that makes sense. You clearly have the drive to make things happen, but not enough leniency to accept when your ideas are never coming to fruition and to change gears on an idea.

I'll actually be on your side with this next point. Do I think the process of which meat is grown, butchered and sold needs to be changed? You would be absolutely correct. I think the entire meat industry should be revised but it won't happen to do money being louder than shear reason. I will never however get behind a complete green movement in the food industry. There are to many drawbacks and pitfalls that would happen to it just like the current state of our processing industries on the carnivore side of this debate.

well, i do see his point in that there are problems directly caused by the agriculture industry

just like i see there are problems in over fishing and things like that.

i don't think cutting it off completely is the solution

exactly. compromising solutions are key to the human race persisting and unfortunately that is never going to happen.
