Red Devil;1189578; said:good idea to introduce pellets .. mealworms are not very high in protein and vitamins etc that a growing arow needs..they actually should be fed as a treat..oh i forgot to tell what i feed..I feed my guy Azoo arrow pellets, frozen silversides and frozen shrimp and frozen krill.. and i do not powerfeed him... i give him what he needs to be in good form .. feeding too much protein i think actually caused my other arow to feel jumpy and nervous ...i even packed his food with vitamins etc.. just feeding arow normal portions of pelleted food and the other things as an occasional meal has worked for me.. most of the time he is calm and content.. you really should not rush arow growth.. let them develope normally at the normal speed is a better approach to a healthy arow..

Hikari Koi pellets, Cut market shrimp, tilapia and once every other week cut salmon filets. I only feed mine every three days and they seem happy. Nonce of my fish have eaten live foods in over 5 months![]()

I just want to see him be the monster he is plus i would like a different type of food for him/she each day of the week. So keep away from mealworm and stuff? I am not going to feed it live form food such as other fishes. Just heard mealworm as a treat should be good. Thanks for the advice i guess i'll just keep what i am up too. My jar even take flake food lol. He an eater for ya =).
Every three days is okay for mature arows.. in fact it is probably very good for digestion and appetite..but baby arows need to eat small amounts a couple of times a day.. they are growing fast at this stage..once arows have reserve fat then it may actually be ,more beneficial to skip a day or two..as long as it is consistent and a schedule is maintained. I am not trying to tell anyone how to feed their arow..just letting you know that they're are some experiences that you should be aware of and try to avoid ..it is hell worrying about an arow that refuses to eat,and just eating meal worms and crickets is not a healthy diet..RdLover;1190922; said:niceeee every 3 days hey lol man.. its so hard to.. find asian arows.. in canada.. i know.. dont mind the thing saying states im from canada lol i want a reasonable.. price from where iam.. and i dont feel like importing to much work im lazy LOL
