Hello everyone!
Hikari Koi pellets, Cut market shrimp, tilapia and once every other week cut salmon filets. I only feed mine every three days and they seem happy. Nonce of my fish have eaten live foods in over 5 months;)

Look beautiful and very healthy...

I feed Hikari food sticks mainly, sometimes Beef Heart, and when I want to se JarJar hunt, I'll give him some good , clean feeders. He's 3YO and about 19" now. I usually skip 1 or 2 days a week, but other than that he eats every day at the same time.

Thank red devil for the heads up. I will see how mine goes. Mine is now at the stage where he thing my hand is his meal. So i will feed mealworm and cricket to bare minimal.

Sorry i do not believe in power feeding any fish or for that matter any animal..they were meant to grow at the rate they are meant to grow.. all the good food you give most of it will end up in your tank as poo.. the body can only take in so many nutrients and the rest ends up as waste... just feed a good varied diet and your arow will be huge in no time..it is more important to do alot of water changes ..because they thrive in good clean water...then to over feed.. the better their water... the better they feel...the better their scales will be ..and the better their appetite..and the better their growth will be.

good idea to introduce pellets .. mealworms are not very high in protein and vitamins etc that a growing arow needs..they actually should be fed as a treat..QUOTE]

Statement retracted :)

The biggest reason I would introduce pellets and various other foods is to keep from HAVINg to buy costly food when you get in a pinch...
