^ I think selling fish in Plastic bags like that is more of an Asian thing... coz over here in Hong Kong, the fish market sells fish like that if the store is too small to hold enough aquariums for all the fish... in which case you end up with a wall full of fish hanging out at the front of the store in individual bags...
I might be going to my lfs(s) tomorrow to pick up a few plecos, some driftwood and other stuff. i will get pics of my lfss
I asked them to put my name on their call list when Certain species came in. When they called about datnoids being available I was pretty excited. They said they had Quadrifasciatus dats on their list.
I came in today and they were Thin Bar Datnoids not AT silvers. I told owner about which he had and he was like whatever (great customer service).
Fish being mislabed doesnt bother me much cause I know the difference but when an owner of a pet store knows that his fish is mislabeled and does not care about it, thats what I have a problem with.
The staff are nice there though. Anyways, these 2.5 inch NTT thin bars were going for 75 bucks each. I did not buy them.

If anyone lives in OC, my LFS is 405 Tropical Fish on Goldenwest. Ill get some pics next time, but their prices are very competitive and I've been going there for years and developed a relationship with the guys. They get oddballs every now and then.
