A couple months back I saw a loggerhead that crossed the road and got hit by a car, eggs spilled out everywhere. :(
That's unfortunate,so it traveled all the way across the beach and up to the road looking for the right spot.

I'm in asia and I'm desperate to see kaloula pulchra's. You even have limnonectes! Dang. Overall, I struggle to find kaloula pulchra's in nearby swampy fields. PM me your location will you?
Hey Snakefin what kind of lizard is that in your avatar?

the last Kaloula frog that i caught was hiding behind a tubifex worm tub (there's a section of the fish "room" that extends outdoors) after a heavy rain. i pulled it and saw a round thing, at first i thought one of my hatchling turts had escaped but then it jumped at my direction haha. you'll find Kaloulas in the most unexpected places and when youre not looking. btw, dont look in very wet areas (like swamps, marshes and rice paddies). they are terrestrial, and hide under leaf litter during the day. look in moist, dim wooded areas. PM sent.;)

I had great luck today
I saw and caught a live garter snake for the first time here.
There were two instances where I saw a dead one before, so this was just awesome.
Here's a pic of the snake when i caught him (right before this pic, he musked me, and right after, he bit me)

Here's a pic of my finger now (it was bleeding before)

There are plenty of DeKays snakes in my yard but I've never seen a Garter.

Wow nice the only time I ever see black rat snakes are when theyre dead on the road.. I look at night occasionally but never find them D:

I saw some shirtless showoff walking around yestrday. He had a snake around his neck and one wrapped around each wrist but seeing him was not exactly herping.

saw a bunch of painted turtles, a northern leopard frog, some bullfrogs, and a beautiful water snake this past weekend

What kind of snake was the shirtless guy holding
Not sure,I was driving past him but they looked to be some type of young boa's or pythons.
