sponge is a "Hydro V" 5.75"
lol, and 75-100 is still a lot. :D
Great video, and good luck with the fry!

I'm not too sure on the flow of water over the eggs, from the power head, that runs the sponge...I do not remember this many white eggs in the last spawn...It might be because of the flow or maybe I just didn't see them in the clay pot, the last spawn...

But here they are, doing the Mom and Dad thing...
they have no problem keeping the fry from the last spawn clear of the eggs...:D

This may be a dumb question and sorry if I missed it but are your running the sponges instead of the sump or in addition to??? Seems with that many fry you would have to "shut 'er down" for a while. I am a huge sponge fan for this very reason.

I'm thinking, at the time of fertilization, the water flow through the sponge might have compromised the males efficiency at delivering the goods...
that's OK, it happens to the best of us sometimes...:naughty::screwy::D

No,
those are those EXCELLENT! extra large meal worms,
I get out of Oregon...
they have lasted 6 months so far with minimal loss when I refrigerate them...
I take them out one time a month and water them.
$20.00 for 1000ct.
The grower claims they'll last over a year if you water them once a month...so far so good,
and they are every bit as big as a Super worm without the pinchers.;)

That one you see there, is too close to the spawn so I haven't removed it,
the MoM and DaD will freak out when the net gets close so I don't stress them out...
