Went fishing yesterday,trying a new spot where we saw some monsterpikes recently.
When we came to the spot we found out that the water there was less then 45cm deep.
But just as we where about to give up, this monsterpike comes to the surface about 6feet away from me.
Pretty soon another one hits the surface about the same size.
I wasted no time and in a couple of seconds one of these beasts was on my line.
After a relatively short period of about 3-4minutes the fish gave up and my buddy was able to get hem on shore.
It had a huge head but was extremely skinny for its size and had a huge massive wound in around his gills.
After some photo's we released the fish back,hoping she would make it through the winter.
It isn't the biggest pike I'f caught but it's definitely the longest at 114cm/45inch.
