Yes, but this is not an Oddball fish. There are 6 of them that look exactly alike, same base colors and same wide bars. That isn't a mistake. They ARE NTT's, like Jojo said, but they are from a different collection point in the Mekong River.

i think we are trying to say the same thing. calling them ntt wouldnt be correct but i want to believe they are regional variants of datnioides undecimradiatus

Well, they're both, apparently, collected from the Mekong river. But one seems to be from a different collection point. That's as much as I've been told and you can see some vast difference between the two. Needless to say, I'm buying a couple to see what's up.

you guys are jokers

you cant say its a sub type of tiger just because it has thicker bars or brighter gold if that was t5he case then there are 1000000000000 of subs of IT does that mean a stable 3 bar is a sub of IT

wow someone has found a new type of NTT because it has thicker stripes

a lot of NTT have thicker stripes when small just like a lot of then have full neck band but it soon goes when they get to 6 inch

this is nothing new i had a 6" thin bar that had and kept full neckband so this is nothing new
