Are you A Fish Hoarder?? I think I’m real close…

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I guess I should be a mechanical engineer, because a drip system seems so simple to set up. I actually plan on getting a few bigger tanks in the future and plumbing them all with drip systems for continuous water changes.

To do it right, it's a lot more than just a "drip system" in actuality it's a controlled flow and drain in and out of each tank BUT individually, so not to cross contaminate. So to do this right It's a lot trickyer than some may think that's never done it before. Temp is another thing you'll have to deal with while plumbing a continual flow of outside fresh water. My system also adds the required salt, conditioners and Vida Chem automatically...This all has to be figure and measured out in detail. Not saying you can't do it but just wanted to set the record straight as far as my system goes, it well supersedes just any old drip system.

Rock on Fish hoarders!! :headbang2

Funny... Yeah my girlfriend never even owned a fish before she met me... Now she's all into it and has several of her own fish & tanks, with a love for the monster cats! I do believe the addiction is contagious, fish hoarders beware!!..lol

Decker - I own over 30 Cichla and counting bro, I'm sick with cichla fever and can't stop...It's insane!! I'm even designing a 2500 gallon DIY tank and looking to get my hands on some arapaima...

Yeah buddy!!

Awesome, I'm saving up for a new house and plan on building a DIY myself. Rose Garden Center down here had a 3ft arapaima 3 months or so ago in a 8ft long, 4ft wide and 3 ft tall DIY koi pond indoors. What a beast!!

Hey, I'm joe and I'm addicted to fish.

I love the design and engineering that going into custom filtration, stand, and lighting solutions. I love the aquascaping design elements. I enjoy making a stunning visual feast out of a tank by combining fish species in interesting ways. I like feeding, viewing and otherwise absorbing the uniqueness of every fish in my care. I have 4-75 gallon tanks, 2-100 gallon long tanks, 2-125 gallon tanks, 16-20 gallon tanks, 3-30 gallon tanks, 3-20 gallon breeders, and one leaking 265. I'm possibly going to pick up a 300 and 400 gallon display tanks this weekend. I need help... help ME! I bought a house with the explicit plan of turning into an aquatic wonderland.
