I need a lawyer that's a fish geek

double check, but unfortunately, if the condo associations lawyer sent you a letter, chances are they would have checked the lease agreement and referred to a specific section of it as a violation.

the lawyer would probably have checked..

if it was just the landlord telling you verbally, then probably not.

if a lawyer drafted you a letter chances are there is something in there..

Just say your getting a lawyer invovled to stall it and when you go to court say how much fish has helped u in life and your family. If your fish are part of ur family no judge is going to put u on the streets. Most likely itll go to a agreement and im sure you guys will neogotiate a fair number of tanks to have.

What floor are you on? Cuz w/ 9 tanks they may be looking out for damage to urs and others.

Neibhorhood association which i pay 1400/year. They can vote for certain things and ive recieved 3 threatening letters. I dont think they could kick me out but its too much of a hassle. Who knows, having fun gets harder and harder these days.

or do they just look for something to complain for you get tired of it and then give them something to complain about.

I feel your pain! We had to move our three biggest tanks to the garage because our landlord (who originally said tanks were ok) changed his mind. Then backed it with the "no furniture with water" part of the lease. Sucks!!!!!! Good luck with everything!

Not their business what you do they need proof and if it wasn't states on your lease agreement or what have you they will loose 100% don't worry go to the.meeting.or court date with.your chin up bring a copy of your lease do not mention how many tanks you have nor if you sell.or trade the judge will laugh about.this. now.unless they bring it up that you are raising.to sell just say you don't do that they need proof. Relax its nothing

Did they quote the section of the lease aggreement you are in violation of? Personally, if it were me and I was planning on moving anyways I wouldn't waste my time trying to fight it. As others have said, if the lawyer sent you the letter they have already checked there stuff to make sure it's right. Evicting someone is pretty hard to do as it is.

That's why I built a nearly soundproof recording studio in my house. no neighborhood association, but the wife would kick me out since it's next to our bedroom. Now I'm getting loud until 1am with no complaints!
