here are the 2 bigger cats i kept from last night for dinner - only bad thing about yesterday is between big snapping turtles and snags i lost 5 hooks, 3 team catfish hooks that aren't that cheap and a couple double barbed kahles... urgh

.... so, today sucked. I didn't hit the water but it was a huge blow to my fishing abilities. I found out that I will not be able to fish at my honeyhole out at that barn anymore. Me and one other catch and release fisherman are the only two people who bass fish and have any idea how to catch big bass. Apparently the guy that owns the place woke up last weekend went down to the pond and there were over 20 mexicans fishing... only 2 of worked for him and most illegal, so he is shutting down anybody from fishing out there for at least a few months and possibly permanently. They should consider themselves lucky that I don't own the land because I would have shot every last one of them. I'm really upset right now but I can't blame the owner and if he lets one or two people that really care about fishing out there it's an outlet for more idiot illegals to come storming in with their soda bottles and string trying to eat everything they can get their filthy hands on. Freaking sucks.

Caught this beauty tonight on bottom with bread. I had 3 poles for cats and 2 poles for carp, no cats tonight.
Fished a solid 2-3 hours from my dad's bass boat tonight...I might have had a few bites but definitely no big hits. The bass will come...Just wasn't going to happen this time. LOL

NC - Those cats will make a nice meal. I kept a couple channels myself last week and some fat crappie.

I am currently having a lot of trouble with some stupid Polish people that are fishing in small ponds and literally take anything they catch.
it's legal to take the fish home,but not in the amounts they are taking them home.
Don'get me wrong I have no problems with someone take a fish home caught from large waters.
But I do have a problem with guys fishing in tiny ponds and lakes and take everything so there is nothing left when they are finished.
Some Polish fishermen have followed me one time when I was fishing to see I knew some hotspots,Went to a lake that was poisoned recently and spent the entire day casting.
Guys stayed there for a couple of days,was freaking hilarious.
Now that I can go out Pikefishing for awhile my focus will be at catching Carp and Bream.
Although carpfishing is quite difficult in my area,I will see what happens on a water couple of miles away where I saw some really decent carp swimming around.
