this is my in law's jardini after only a few days puting it in a tank thats got white substrate. he went from very redish looking to this. he was still a noob n didnt even kno what kinda of aro he got at that time. lol
Platinum Jardinis are suppose to stay WHITE in any envrionment. Platinum is leucistic, no pigment thus the white color. It's a genetic mutation.Yeah, although mine doesn't have any of the brown in the fins really. And has been this color pretty much for 2 days in this tank now, with dark colored background and surroundings.
I've seen high quality photos of a legit leucistic Jardini, but I don't know where the photos are. I use to collect pictures of rare color morphs of Aros but I lost the folder.Honestly, I don't think it's a platinum aro. I see some pinkish tone to it. Hao is right since he owns a silver aro & knows better
