You do know Jardinis are like chamelons right? They change their color according to the environment. If you look @ the 2nd set of photos posted, it looked totally different and less white compared to the 1st. I wouldn't buy that aro for $1.5k unless they could keep it in an all back tank for 1 week. I would wait and see how it looks a few days later. Silvery shine doesn't mean it's platinum. Most likely the 1st picture was taken when the Aro freshly came from a WTT bath. It's going to look darker and more gray in a few days.

If you aren't too far, you should check it out and get us better pictures!

i dunno if mount_prion bought it already b/c he said he paid over the phone the hrs after this thread came about & its being reserved for him so theres no point of me going if its gone already.

+ an hr drive & expensive tolls aint worth the trip.

IMO, if it is a true platinum, then its gonna be a real good catch

I decided to pick it up. They discounted it significantly. If it's not a true plat then I guess I can just go cry or try taking it up with the store.

Can you please explain what a WTT bath is? I'm fairly unfamiliar. Assume it's some kind of dyeing process.

I'll try to get better pictures tonight but I've been intentionally keeping the lights low. Also going to be posting asking a few questions about care I haven't had sufficiently answered by my research.
