HI im new to the site! The very first fish i ever got was a BKG probably not the best first fish but they were the reason i got into fish keeping! They are awesome! I have had mine for almost 2 year. For some wierd reason we named him marshmellow :) he is a good 9-10" and in a 55g. I am finally buying 125g in the next couple of days so he will have a big tank to be in! He is super peaceful! I LOVE THESE FISH!!!

welcome to mfk.. you are doing a great job with your BGK.. thats a great size.. and he will be a very happy guy in the 125gal.. just check on the right tank mates before adding to the 125gal if you intend to add more... keep up the good work..!

I currently have him with a 10" birchir a couple groumais a rainbow shark and a couple plecos! They all do great together! I plan on moving all of them into the bigger tank along with 3-5 rainbow fish and a peacock eel. I also have 3 clown loaches that will go in with them once they get bigger. All of my fish are pretty peaceful and dont fight :)

Should be fine as long as the tank is big enough. Oscars can vary in personality, so it might be hit or miss.
