Bored with the Hobby!

Lots of times rare fish are the most boring. The most fun I had was when I had my jag, jd, and red devil almost 8 years ago. I wanna keep a pure red devil so bad again but I don't wanna sell the fish I have because I spent a good chunk of money getting them all.

Lol, that's one direction I will not mess with... Always had a fear of Salt Water haha. I'm sure it's like freshwater w/extra details but I just have a fear of tossing my hammer through the 300 if it all dies on me Lol.

You know, I've always wanted Saltwater because of the fish, but looking at the setups and extra parameters to mess with, I think I'm somewhere between intimidated and/or just not wanting to deal with the extra cost/hassles of salt.

I got totally bored of my cichlid setups back in 2010 and was ready to pretty much get out of hobby for a while. Instead I switched to saltwater and went back to keeping some sw preds especially eels....really re-energized my passion for fishkeeping.

I am bored with it right now and it all started when I lost my red islthaum an just lost my female lyonsi. Those where my pride and joy fish. I am thinking of selling my stock and get out of the hobby for a few yrs. or I might get a we let for my 125 or for my 75 I just don't know what to do. It's hard to enjoy the fish when I am work really long hrs and don't get home until late.

Do what you like. CA comm tanks are hard to pull off when you don't have a few tanks to shuffle fish with if need be (and the need usually arises at some point).

The only time I felt this way was wen I had got rid of my minion,now I'm as happy as can be I'm always watching fish eat fish vids on YouTube I guess way keeps me going is minion and having the hope to own a snakehead one day
