Bored with the Hobby!

I get this feeling from time to time specially when I accidentally introduce mean fish into my stock. I simply try to rearrange the tank, set up what it still needs and/or exchange new fish.
 
I get bored with EVERYTHING. I got so bored of fish I sold them all to BigRich and kept natives only because they were free. I tried it for a few months but eventually went back and I wish I had my fish back, it couldn't have happened at a worse time, miss my Umbee. But now I'm back and finally got some black rays :)
 
I hear ya.....stuff gets boring after a while and needs a change up. I'm down to 2 fish tanks at the moment. I'm focusing more on my reptiles but I will always have at least one tank up and running.
 
Try collecting free fish, give some away after getting new free ones in... just an idea.

We are the same then Lol... I've purchased fish and sold them cheaper a couple days later just to get them out! Or I've gave them to buddies... Only fish I ever kept so long was my old VATF

Eh, I'm sure the SoCal peeps know I have given away plenty of free things. Im just bored with the hobby. Buying a fish is not the issue... it's what is avail is where the problem is haha. Nothing interesting enough for me to light my flame:irked:
 
I recently had to sell my 180... Now only have a 90 gal with a few small cichlids in it... Figure im in sleeper mode untill I get a 300 in the next year?

I guess I'm the NW version. I buy fish all the time thinking its what I want. They stay in my tank for a few weeks and then I realize that they werent for me. I generally just let them go for free.

I like how you sneaked that in under the radar--> Man Who just posted a "what's in the box?" NEW WOLF FISH last week.
nothing crazy, eh.
 
I feel the same way sometimes too. I would go from lots of tanks to no tanks or 1 tank then I would finally find something I really liked would make a tank out of it and then get bored again. I got bored and tired of the lack of space/sizes of tank I have and I am now in the process of downgrading again. I am in a period of being content with my 150gal set-up and just not bothering with anything else now.
