Ellioti x Convict Hybrid

Meh quality sucks much more than I have hoped. :/ Stupid iPhone camera + bad IT skills.

Anyways it's been slow growing, only recently have I separated this one into its separate tank and overfeed it. :P Growing quicker now, a centimeter or so over the past month or so. Its fins are definitely red, and gaining quite a bit of color. When its stripes darken, it looks really nice. :P But of course, talk is nothing without pictures/videos. Too bad I can't get a decent one, ever. T_T

Mhm, though it's body is actually lightly pink. Just too dark in the photo. :P Atm it's developing most of the Ellioti traits, up to and including the dorsal spot (which makes this one a possible female?). The only thing that is not apparent is the blotch on the gillplate tho.

Convict-wise, it has a caudal spot like Convicts, and the bars are faintly visible all the time. At night they grow dark, as with a typical Ellioti.
