Ellioti x Convict Hybrid

Right, so moved them to the 55g and they're starting to really pick up on their growth. :D

Anyways, day 72:

It has sprangles on its gill-plate, as you'd expect on an Ellioti. The barrings seems to not be full, as if a transparent line was draw straight through all the barrings. Not sure if they'd all connect later on and look like that of a typical Convict, or remain as so. One thing though, is that the black blotch on the body is very apparent, reminiscent of that of an Ellioti. Too young to really tell if sprangles will appear on the body as well, but seems like it.
 
Congrats. Ellioti are my favorite thorichthys. I want to try a similar project some day but with ellioti and multispinosa. How big is that ellioti?

Man I am 90% sure herotilapia multispinosa cannot hybridize with thorichthys. They can probably cross with convicts and redpoints, septemfasciatum sajica etc... but I seriously doubt thorichthys.
