hi, everyone

the time draws nearer to my first large tank.
The dimensions are
Length - 210cm/7' x Height - 60cm/2' x Width - 90cm/3'
Just short of 250gallons.

My question is, do you think i should put foam in between my tank and stand??

Yes. You may not need it 100% but it is not expensive and you'll be glad you have it!:)

ahh awesome dude. I'm really excited for this tank . How thick do you think I should make the foam?

I use 1" under the tanks ( it does compress) and 2" on back and 2 small sides for temp stability on warm water tanks, in case of a power outage and to save on energy cost.

Until you get the foam, just hug your tank for a few hours and it will keep it warm that way too

I got some silver insulating foil from homebase. similar to what goes behind radiators but for roofs or cellars etc. supposed to be the equivalent of 3 inches of foam. not expensive either and doesn't take up any space.
