im 21 and 170 lbs, took off 2 months 3 months ago when my daughter was born. i didnt lose any muscle i actually came back stronger, i was maxing bench at 185 when i came back i was at 215 bench maxing. sometimes a break is good

Are you sure man? Cuz this doesn't make sense at all. In order for your muscles to get stronger, you need to break them down. In order to break them down, you need to do some sort if lifting that way they can rebuild themselves stronger but when you take that long off, muscle catabolism starts kicking in and starts using up the nutrients that your muscles have been using to build themselves up making them weaker. So unless you've been pushing a lot of furniture around and lifting fishtanks everywhere the entire time you weren't lifting, your body should not be stronger. It would make sense though if the 1st week you were weaker, then from there, muscle memorization kicks in allowing them to build back up faster and after a few weeks you'd be stronger than before, but you shouldn't be stronger right away.

It will be different for everyone. I take a month off each year so I can "rest" my body. I always come back just as strong or stronger.

Appears you are doing the same thing with fish keeping.

Well it seems like I'll lose some muscle but not all of it. That's always great to hear. Body building is such a slow process.
