Have you ever ate a fish you had?

So my friend has a Rtc... I was talking to him the other day, and asked him what he's planning on doing when he gets huge.. His reply with a straight face was; if he gets that big I'll eat him... Which got me thinking has anyone on here had a fish fry? If so what what was it. I read somewhere that someone ate their pacu because it go to big, and they couldn't re-home it.
 
Although, I fish and have eaten plenty of my catches, I couldn't eat a pet. I have a native tank that I've stocked with some of the catches, it never even cross my mind to one day eat them. Its just my personal TABOO :)

I feel the same way. I don't even like keeping the ones I catch. Only time I do is when I'm with that friend. However I do try to sneak them off back into the water before he sees what I caught lol.
 
I have not but I have a relative who wanted to eat one of my fish after it died.
 
there are a couple members on here that cooked and ate fish they kept in a tank. I do believe one was an Oscar but I may be mistaken.
 
I don't think my flowerhorn will taste good anyways.... Trust me no one here wants to eat any kok do they?
