150 gal sump eshopps/jebao dct

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Good cuz i just removed the blue drainage hoses too much noise from water sloshing around. Glued some unions and extended a pipe a few inches below the water line. No big deal just unscrew when the socks have to be replaced.

Moved the heater a little deeper but not much or it will rest on the bio

Got the overflow to quiet down a bunch. Not as quiet as the overflow in the 75 but its not too bad.

Just gotta do the lid for the sump and im done

Can you come do my 55 please? Lol

Between working full time, evening classes, being a dad and husband, I can't find time to build mine. It's been sitting empty in my garage for weeks now. Lol, just venting a little.

The sump looks great. Be careful not to raise the water too high or it might overflow during a power outage.

I hear ya man. I had help from my son and wife. I couldnt do much bending so thw wife got involved and my son helped with the plumbing too. Get them all involved kids like helping :)

I would consider lowering the water level a little bit or repoisitioning the media. I'd want the water to have a more direct route across the media. Looks like you've got several inches of water above the media.

The issues is the heater. I reallly dont want the water level too low and potentially expose it. Also really cant move the bio around or it will rest on the heater.
Unless you see another solution im at a loss

Gonna monitor the water see if im having any issues with ammonia. I doubt i will have anorher sump set up almost the same as this one
