I find it most usf ull in knowing when I need to do 2 water change on any given week to make up for the creep that takes place with one water change of 90% a week, or fin level. unless you do a 100% water change every week, that last 10% left in the tank will add to slowly rising nitrate levels, so every month or so depending on tank/stock, 2 water changes will need to be done to bring nitrates back to the base line 5 or less.
You think replacing 100% is ok to do? I know it's "Cichlids" but still....100%? I'm losing beneficial bacteria w/ that much....at least a 90% leaves the gravel and silt and stuff....

Aquanero Aquanero - I plan on using Polyguard, do you agree with this ? I like the 3-in-1 , and so it seemed to make the most sense since idk what the pathogen and after Paraguard was ruled-out. Your method or either easier or cheaper or more safe or more accurate or other reason or do you like this course of action?
