Raised up reddish-pink bumps

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
this is what I would be doing, if you are not worried about your bio filter I would treat the tank with MB also, if you are do the baths.

I got plenty of bio-load to pinch from a number of tanks. Let's prepare to NUKE!!!

Wailua Boy Wailua Boy , are you in agreement with all this? SIDENOTE: My PH is always between 6.4 and 7

if going to put MB in the tank, then I would run paragaurd. MB will take care of any bacteria infection.

What does MB stand for aand what is the difference between the link you posted to the box of Polyguard vs. the bottle of Polyguard you just posted?

I always take the carbon out, but a WC beforehand sounds like a smart idea since the medicine has to run it's course.....do you treat for a week and then WC and treat again for another week or what?

As far as UV, you mean UV sterilizer, not UVB Lighting, right?

Yes UV sterilizer, follow directions on the meds,

keep in mind, if you full dose the tank with MB, your bio filter will be DMG or wiped out. this ware a API master fresh water test kit also comes in handy. water changes will need to be every other day, and re dosing of all meds. if you do MB baths and not added to the tank then no.

up to you, again, MB can be used in the tank, but know will kill your bio filter. the other can be used with out hurting the bio filter. I prefer bathing in MB, and dosing the tank with the other.

and FYI your PH is pretty much neutral. not an issue.
