HELP SOMETHING WRONG WITH MY FLOWERHORN

Hey ya I lost the FH today
Such a shame awesome fish great personality
Now I'm conflicted about having gravel in that tank since it was the underlying issue I might go bare bottom what do u guys think I mean I siphon every week but the first and she must have dug around too much
Sorry for your loss. I hope you didn't take it as hard as I do when I lose some of my fish.
I have had gravel and sand with no problems. You probably didn't siphon well enough.
No it was cause the first week I placed them in that tank they were recently moved but I hadn't siphoned the gravel and I saw her dig really deep into the gravel and put it in her mouth a lot so I guess that's what happened and I'm taking it pretty hard it was definetly one of my favorite fish even my second FH isn't as cool as she was
Maybe you'll grow on to the other flowerhorn. My first two Angelfish where a marble and a yellow (in the profile pic). I loved both of the Angels, both had a good personality, but the yellow one seemed to be more attached to me, and that's why I loved her so much. When I thought my ich was gone, she died while I was away. I was devastated. I couldn't even get myself to weep. She was my favorite fish. Ever since she died, the marble took her place. She almost took on the same personality as the yellow Angel. I've grown onto her a lot since my yellow Angel died. Hopefully you're flowerhorn will be the same. If not, you could always try to look for another one at Petland for $8.
I'm sure you know how I feel with that Angel. You have Angels yourself, so you know how much personality they have. I'm sure the flowerhorn was the same way or better.
Sorry to hear that! I'm pretty positive it was duck lips. You have many of your fish die recently I hate hearing that.
Ya it's a shame I've lost my FH and my King Kong bp both truly great fish thanks
