My query is anyone else observed such patterns on Aros? Is this common?

those are head patterns that i think its unique to each of individual arowana because i have seen similar pattern but not exactly the same
yours is much simple pattern and those patterns would be coloured just like gold patch on the side of the head (because your aro is gold and a red should have a yellowish to redish patches all over)
in some cases the gold could even spread all over the head area and called a golden head/gh

Thanks!. Havent measured him recently, must be around 2 ft. His eating is almost consistent, excitement varies somehow.
