The tough part might be that all brackish animals can't be kept at the same salinity?

And to make it even harder, some are brackish as juveniles and move on to higher salinity as they grow, up to full salt...

But what's killing me inside is people insistively keeping brackish fish in fresh and claiming "they are doing fine". Information is there, but they just decidedly act against it.

I must admit I have been there, but it is because I was mislead.
I kept Gymnothorax tile because it was sold as freshwater morray, which I gues is true at the size I bought it. Needless to say, I never read informations about it needing to be gradually leaned to brackish, if not salt...

One of the reasons I want one in this setup, so I can right my wrongs and host a fish in its true element!

Same goes for Monos, I have read conflicting infos, and am not sure whether they can stay brackish or need full salt in the long run. I hope they don't, cause I want them with my archers... I know something similar applied to scats, hence why I didn't opt for them but I forgot what it was...

I was pondering something like that, I just want it to look natural, so it's going to take some work and dedication, but most importantly: ideas.

I was starting to lean towards slender driftwood branches coming out of the water, but I really want plants, not just goddamn wood looking like a dead tank. xD

It's so hard finding brackish tolerant plants, even on the lower end of the spectrum, but I guess my requirements are set pretty high. :p

Try to going to sea mouth or sea river, look at under the mangrove trees, sometime i see a little thing like a "moss" or like a "Anubias" but they growing lengthy... Maybe in your country, you can find another plant for your tank

I went with red mangrove,

they're tiny so far, but I have hope for a good growth once they develop their first leaves!
