My problem now is I'm deeply in love with the Lap. It seems like a very mild tempered fish so far.
Laps are mellow compared to endli and other polys, the only one i knows that likes to nip fins is the PBB
No need to re-home that lap. Will be fine in that tank. Keep it.
That's what I was thinking. It gets on with the other polys really nicely so far too. What do you reckon I'm looking at size wise? It's got to be captive bred. Probably not a ton bigger than the ornates are going to get.
Even if wc your fine man. I like the patterns on it I would definitely keepy keepy.
I fight the urge to keep saying this but here goes. The differences between uj and lj are not major. Just because lj get bigger it's assumed that they are eating machines that are going to break into our houses at night and eat all of the uj's simply not fact. Each fish is different from the next. Example 1 out of the 6 endli I had was a jerk. Look back at some of the older hardcore poly keepers....uj and lj we're all mixed.
I feel like we try to rationalize the hobby too much sometimes, it's not a hard science. There's consistently exceptions to the common consensus.
