Maybe use some black plastic canvas (for crafts) to block the K1 from escaping the OF teeth. Easily cut with scissors and endless uses in the hobby. It comes in various hole sizes to keep that pesky K1 where it's supposed to be.

Can you route the drip line so it just fits through one of the OF teeth but is not visible inside the tank?

STELLAR idea for the drip overflow, thank you!! I’ll do something very similar. Appreciate the suggestion

I have the black mesh but am going to use some black egg crate in hopes is doesn’t slow the flow as much.

Black egg crate, black zip/cable ties was an easier fix than I assumed. Doesn’t slow the flow all that that I can tell.

Looks good! I figured the K1 would just escape through the egg crate also but looks like it is working.

Thanks! It’s holding the K1 great now. I’m happy with this at the moment.

One thing to note is I didn’t realize there were some smaller pieces than others. If you test with actual pieces lay out a bunch and grab the shortest one to test with. Flawless after that. Live and learn

The shakedown test is complete. All functionality is installed, tested and ready to rock. Time to tear it down for buffing, a few modifications and finishing work.

The front panel had some hardcore scratches. No crazing but the scratches were too deep to buff. Had to take a bit of material off via wet sanding.
