Diy stand for 75 gal

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Don't be embarrassed happens to the best of us. I personally went through the exact thing with my stand build.

I'm ready to take a sledge hammer to this dam thing. I'd rather plumb a thousand sumps than deal with this b.s

Perfectly level but the right but now there's a gap on the left side brace. Guess it's ok as long as the corners are good. But wtf

I'm just going to eye ball it and use the level on each piece

Ah that's nice of you to let the kids build a stand for you :)

Try flipping it over and see if other side is level.

Or bump the board into place with a piece of scrap and a hammer. You are using a framing square right? Not being a douche just asking

Corners are level now but looks like this. Even space in the middle

I usually square it up. Drill pilot holes then lock it into place with whatever contraption I have available then screw it together. This usually prevents the boards from getting off like your showing . Atleast with me

I'd let that go or trim up some kind of cushion to go around the edge to fill in the gaps

Screw this back to the original frame.

Why can't I just sand down those high spots. As long as the corners are touching I should be good right ?

This was definitely not a fun project lol.

Never again
