Toni and Nemo my albino Oscar's

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I missed it somehow, why exactly are you guys fighting again?

She is very upset at me for moving her tank into the living room. More than likely pissed that she had to go in a bucket for a while.....20180804_094326.jpg
My tote was full of her substrate so bucket for her...

Don't temp me, the Wet Spot has Albino Reds,Tiger's, Normal Reds,Tiger's and Wild. I could start over and get a breeding pair...

A day or two at the most. This is her longest tantrum ever. I come in the room, and she does this now... View attachment 1329920

Like she is playing dead.....till I leave..........then it's back to sulking View attachment 1329921
I'm her old favorite spot, above the heater. Not sure if she actually thinks that I think she is dead....or what.....but that her new thing this week.
She did eat the 10 chunky crickets, so not starved all week. But has not touched anything else. Things she would normally attack like a starving shark a dead whale.
She is a little older and looks like she has a good reserve built up. She may not need to eat as often

You know this may be the reason. She is a year and a half old now. This is when Oscar's hit maturity, and can start breeding.
She did eat two pieces of Krill last night. A good sign since she has not eaten since the crickets on Wednesday.

As long as she doesn't look stressed or like she's declining I would only worry a little...but thats just coz I don't seem to be happy unless I'm worried about something lol

I sat there for 15 minutes, all she did was move her eyes around following me......

Is the tank located in a busy walk way? It looks like its near the kitchen.

I wouldn't call it busy, I am the only person here. My roommate is a trucker and I have only seen him four times since January when I moved in.
I have been up from nappy time now for two hours ....this whole time she was and still is sitting on the bottom of the tank not moving.
