Hello Everyone ,:headbang2

So I just got 2 baby arowana's:asianarowabout 3inc small and the slightly bigger one got killed cause of excessive pecking by the smaller one. At the moment he is placed in a 5 feet long tank and he's just 4inc now , was wondering which fishes to put in since he is very dominant about the space. Also some tips to grow his out faster would be a blessing .

Thanks in advance.

To grow him quick i would use what i think is called superworms. We call the zophobas here in sweden. High protein food will make him grow quick. A friend of mine grew 5 silvers from 6-7cm to 60-70cm in 6 months with good food and high waterquality.

When I worked as an importer we used beef heart, but that doesn't grow them out safely, to grow them out safely I would recommend using insects, things like crickets, nightcrawlers, superworms, roaches, and so on would be great for them, just make sure they have no pesticides or diseases. As for tankmates, I can't really say, I don't know the fish well enough to say

An group of some nice eartheaters can work really well with arowanas. Silverdollars will work two. No agressive fish when they are small since they are very very sensitive

I imagine something large, but relatively peaceful would work, something like tin foil barbs, bala sharks, silver dollars, maybe some small bichirs (around the size of the arowana)

Tinfoil barb are good, severums or oscars if your into cichlids, actually any non aggressive cichlids that can grow big will be good. I have mine with odoe pike since i like feeding the same type of food. I feed tilapia most of the time alternate with carni sticks and sometimes i give crickets and worms a threat. Sorry to hear about the other aro, usually two aros wont work, you’ll need 3 or more to spread aggression.

Well on youtube people tend to think its okey to buy and house and rtc and arowana in a 75gallon unfortunatly.
