I realized that I haven’t posted a updated on the fry. I had a lot of casualty’s as the fry got larger. I think they were starving to death. As they got larger they weren’t eating enough, and were dropping like flys. I tried to get them on frozen blood worms and pellets but they weren’t eating enough baby brine shrimp. The 7 that are left are finally large enough to eat regular brine shrimp now, and have since took off on a growth spurt. They are now about one inch long, and are doing well. I took a few crappy cellphone pictures of the baby’s, and I also took some Azul shots because I haven’t shown her off in a while.
Cool that you have some survivors still. Hope they make it for you. Sounds like you are taking really good care of them. Cudos to you bro.

Well I just walked by the tank and it looks like their at it again. Mom and Dad are on guard duty....

Did you catch what the trigger(s) would have been? Just wondering what temp you keep them at and what is the wc schedule like?

The funny thing is I’m not doing anything special. Just the normal twice a week water change of 50 to 75 percent and feeding 4 or 5 times a week. Temps 81 and ph is 7. I don’t even know what I’m going to do with the eggs and fry. I’m sure I’ll have wiggles in a few days and honestly I don’t know if I want to deal with the fry. It was a pain in the butt to raise the fry and deal with the baby brine shrimp.
