Hello all,
I am setting up a 75-gallon tank and would like it to contain 5-6 Rio Manacuparu angelfish, I would also like to include 5-6 keyhole cichlid. Will these be compatible, and will be able to add any other fish? Not looking for schooling fish, maybe another medium-sized cichlid preferably from SA.

Looking for fish like -
------------------------------------------
Blue Acara
EB Acara
------------------------------------------
Female Convict - thoughts?
Jack Dempsey - thoughts?
Single Peacock Cichlid - thoughts?
------------------------------------------
Any Cichlasoma Species - I have no clue about them?
------------------------------------------
Other thoughts?

So no more tankmates? Also what about compatibility?

I think 12 midwater cichlids will be fine in terms of compatibility, but note that the angels will be more dominant. I would like to add that you could possibly get some surface-dwelling characins and bottom-dwelling catfish or bottom-dwelling cichlids like Wallaci group crenicichlas.

Jack Dempsey - won't work long term in your aquarium simply because they get too big to be able to share a 75 gallon- Also they are aggressive. I think You would be able to keep them short term for a couple of months if you buy them as juveniles, but be prepared to upgrade to a much larger fish tank or dedicate the tank to the Dempsey once it gets large

Female Convict and Acaras - They could work but you would have to lower your Angel/Keyhole stock size- maybe down to 4 angels and 4 keyholes?

Single Peacock Cichlid - would work but you have to make sure you are getting common captive-bred specimens and none of those fancy wild-caught ones.
This is because African Lake Cichlids like peacocks live in higher pHs and South American cichlids like Angels and Keyholes live in lower pHs, although they contradict each other and most people would tell you it is an odd mix and bad idea, I think you would likely be able to pull it off as captive-bred variants of all these species are likely able to tolerate the neutral pH of 7.

Pearl Gouramis - Im not sure what level of the water column pearl gouramis live in; if they live in the surface column I think you could keep them with your current plans but if it prefers midwater I would say to decrease your Angel/Keyhole stock size. They match in pH preference with SA cichlids.

Cichlasoma - I'm not familiar with

Alright thank you very much that was very helpful, I will think about your suggestions right after dinner, I've been researching fish for around 8 hours today. Is it just me or should I take a break?

Take a break lol there are so many things to learn it will take time but you will be in good hands here. Believe it or not I was very green at one time and still learning.

8 hours, those are barely scratching the surface. You only have a problem when you realize you’ve been up for 3 days straight, haven’t done anything beside do research about fish, am dangerously dehydrated, and haven’t gone to work in 3 days.
You’re fine .

On a serious note, I find my pearl gouramis tend to use all levels of the tank.
