Well That's Why I made the manifold in case I have to add anything in the future. If I need it I definitely will add a second pump but this is only for filtration not water movement. It would be an external one if I added any. So that wont be to bad to plum in especially now that I know about the flex hose that I can use now. I agree I am on the low side but I am that person that has the touch the stove to see if it's hot, even if everyone is telling me it is. I purchased all this stuff when I was originally getting a 240-300 gallon tank, But when my wife told me I could go bigger it was on like Donkey Kong lol. I think I could just go up to 1 inch or 1 1/4 pipe and keep one pump. Leave in a 140 watt light bulb on 24/7 gets a little pricey If I could get away with 140 instead of 280 that's money in my pocket, once you add the heaters lights other pumps it gets up there it will cost me just about $20 a month just for that one pump. I live in ct and the Electric rate is very high.

id suggest keeping smaller bodies till you get more turnover rate and decided what pumps set up you will run ultimately to achieve higher turn over rate I agree there’s a ton of options and gettin gph and good wattage are tough to find
This way
your gonna be doing 200 gallon water changes every week to keep it clear I’d imagine
That’s will up Your water bill and electric bill b/c the heater will have to Heat the new water back up
I’m just saying think about this stuff
I know we all get excited and wanna fill it but I really wish I spent more Time on that stuff
