Funny story
I’m on a conference call with my husband and father in law sorting out some business matters when my son comes frantically to the door. He’s all worked up and looks really concerned. I’m already irritated because it’s been a rough day with this kiddo and I’m not in the mood to deal with yet another surprise problem.
So I mute the phone and ask what the problem is.
“One of the fish has something coming out of its chest!”
*Sigh*
“I’m sure it’s fine, I’ll look at it when I’m done.”
He leaves for a few minutes and then is back and even more worried.
“It has something curly and red like blood hanging out of it!”
The kid looks ready to cry. So I ask what tank the fish is in. His response was “Oliver’s tank”.
Ok, time to check it out. I run down the steps and into the sunroom to look at the effected fish. It was Oliver’s son and he did in fact have a curly red thing sticking out. Only this curly red thing isn’t anything ominous. He is just pooping?
My kids obviously don’t pay much attention to the fish if this is the first time he is seeing him poop. Lol
