They have been in here for 2 weeks with no problems so far but really considering removing one and getting a female
You can always wait with removing one untill ya get the female if they're already bonded and used to the tank. You can also remove one whenever if ya want to it shouldn't make much of any difference.

Personally I'd just leave em alone till ya find a female roughly the same size as the male your wanting to breed with. If they aren't fighting there's really no need to rush.

The only other tank I have open is my 6ft with my two oscars was planing to get 2 delhezi bichirs two but with a jack that might be a little crowded so if i removed one I would most likly give him away
That's always an option but I'd atleast wait with that till ya find a suitable female first. If anything when ya find a good female ya can bring in the extra male to your lfs and just turn it in as a surrender just to make room. Either way works tho and it's all up to you in the end on how ya want to go about it.

Btw when ya do get a female I would recommend adding in a rock or piece of drift wood or some fake plants toward the middle of the tank to provide a break in the line of sight in the tank. This allows the female a lil bit of a resting spot incase the male decides to be a lil rough with her. Atleast then if the male is say on the left side, the female will have a resting spot on the side side where he won't see her and resume chasing/beating her.
