Btw if ya plan on using that set up I'd move the filter or pot to the opposite side of the tank. The male will need to spray his sperm over the eggs once laid but if the filter is right next to the breeding spot all that does is just suck up the sperm before its got a chance to fertilize the eggs.
Adding in the males may or may not break their bond with eachother. So ya can do so but just be ready to remove one of the fish if they start fighting.Ok but if I stick with two males its ok? I would like to find a female but not sure if I can
You can always wait with removing one untill ya get the female if they're already bonded and used to the tank. You can also remove one whenever if ya want to it shouldn't make much of any difference. They have been in here for 2 weeks with no problems so far but really considering removing one and getting a female
That's always an option but I'd atleast wait with that till ya find a suitable female first. If anything when ya find a good female ya can bring in the extra male to your lfs and just turn it in as a surrender just to make room. Either way works tho and it's all up to you in the end on how ya want to go about it.The only other tank I have open is my 6ft with my two oscars was planing to get 2 delhezi bichirs two but with a jack that might be a little crowded so if i removed one I would most likly give him away
