If you dislike plugs you glue many directly to the rocks.

1 red Monti
1 neon maze
1 Green Galexea beautiful coral. The one right in front
2 different palys
1 Zoanthid
1 green Star polyp.
Just arrived today so I hope they are still acclimating but the green star and one paly showed no signs of opening.
They all arrived on ceramic bases. I easily dislodged each using a razor and applied glue to the glue that was already stuck to the base of each.

I was wondering if that was galaxia. Be careful with that one and flow. It has extremely long sweeper tenticals 12"+. It can and will kill any coral it comes in contact with.

Did you put the green star on the rocks? I would remove it ASAP if you did. They grow like weeds, and if you leave it on the rock it will look like this in a few weeks:

Good until you have no more coral space, it’s very hard to remove. I keep mine happy on the sandbed as far from the rock as possible.

Mine was closed for a bit when I got it, probably irritated in the move. Just check for aptasia. Same for palys.

I’m actually trying to do that on my rock since I won’t be doing corals in it! I figured an entire bridge covered in green stars will look pretty cool IMO
